HEY THERE,

Thanks for stopping by!  I teach vinyasa yoga, but my style of yoga comes from years of life lessons learned the hard way and a deep understanding of the brain and its affects on the body.




Full disclosure, I’m not the type of yoga instructor that will fill you up with fluffy words of love and boundless joy, because well… that’s not real life. Real life is gritty. Real life doesn’t feel great all the time, but that’s why we practice. We go through the discomfort because a truer version of ourselves is in there somewhere and that is our journey.

I’m a certified RYT 200 yoga instructor with 10 years of zazen meditation experience. I’ve studied with Buddhist monks in Hiroshima, worked with neurologists to help understand the affects of the brain in relation to head trauma and neurological disorders, taught athletes from hockey players to rock climbers and mentored comedians. When I’m not teaching you can find me sailing through Greece or the BVIs, pole dancing, or right here in Chicago at a comedy show.
